Veggie Chopped Liver

2 onions, chopped 1/4 lb. mushrooms, chopped 3 tbsp oil 3 hard-cooked eggs 1/4 lb. shelled walnuts 1 tsp salt Sauté onions and mushrooms till browned (about 8-10 minutes). Put into food processor and add eggs, walnuts and, salt and process till consistency of chopped liver. Chill several hours or overnight. Serves 6
Grandma Rachel’s Noodle Kugel

1 ½ packages wide egg noodles (approx 18 oz) 4 eggs, beaten 1 ½ cups sugar 1 cup golden raisins ½ tsp cinnamon ½ tsp vanilla 1 16oz can crushed pineapple ½ stick butter, melted Cook noodles. Toss all ingredients together and pour into a large shallow glass baking dish. Bake at 375 until set and lightly browned on top, approximately 45 minutes- 1 hour.
Chocolate Matzah

2 sticks Butter (1/2 L) 2 -3 sheets of Matzah 1 bag chocolate chips 1.5 cups brown Sugar Put parchment paper on cookie sheet. Put one layer of matzah on a cookie sheet. In a pan on the stove on medium heat melt: 2 sticks butter (1/2lb) and 1.5 cups brown sugar packed. Bring to a boil for three minutes. Pour it on the matzah and place oven 325 degrees for 15 min. Remove from the oven and spread 3/4 cup Chocolate chips over the matzah until smooth
